- Filey
- Filey lies between Filey Brigg
to the North and Flamborough Head to the South. Filey has one
of the best beaches in the country with firm sand ideal for building
sand castles and children just love to be able to spend hours
down on the beach and in the sea.
-
- Filey also has an unspoilt seafront
with a few childrens rides, cafes and shops and only one seafront
amusement arcade on the coble landing. The coble landing is also
where the fishing boats and the lifeboat launch.
-
- There is also a crazy golf course
with a giant lobster. At the cliff top at the south end of Filey
seafront there is a small boating lake and some free childrens
swings and slides in a park.
-
- Filey museum is in the old part
of the town. Filey town has a good selection of shops and a supermarket
