- Coldwell Activity Centre
-
- Nestled on
the edge of Deerstone Moor, adjacent to Coldwell Reservoir, is
situated Coldwell Activity Centre. This 18th Century refurbished
building and woodland is only 3 miles from J13 of the M65, making
it is both secluded and accessible, and an ideal environment
for a residential experience.
- Coldwell Activity
Centre provides 21 bedded wheelchair accessible accommodation
and enables all groups to have exclusive use of the centre making
a home from home atmosphere.
Programmes can be tailored to meet educational, leisure and physical
needs. Coldwell aims to offer one of the most flexible packages
around. On a full board or self-catering basis, principally for
disabled and disadvantaged groups a wide range of activities
can be provided.
- Maybe you are
a class teacher, from a school for pupils with special needs,
looking for an arts/crafts week with a professional artist. Perhaps
you are a Scout master looking for a multi-activity holiday for
a group of scouts that includes one boy that has a disability.
Are you a youth leader from an inner city club who is looking
for a place to run your own programme?
- Coldwell can
cater for all these needs and more.
- Each group
has full use of the games room, lounge, fully accessible bathing
facilities and industrial kitchen. Pre residential visits are
encouraged by the helpful and friendly staff team who is happy
to help you design your programme.
- The range and
number of activities is endless. From music workshops to magic,
water sports to aromatherapy. Ask for the full list. Or maybe
if that all sounds too much at the end of a busy day you may
just want to relax in your lounge, whilst taking in the views!
