the village centre, next to the car ferry terminal on Quay Street.
Part of Henry VIII's coastal defences, completed after 1547,
is now also a magnificent picnic spot, with views over the Solent.

to Dorset and Hampshire. Tunnel through the cliffs leads to a
unique panorama of The Needles
