The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight operates a Lancaster, five
Spitfires, two Hurricanes, two Chipmunks, and a Dakota. These
aircraft are all still flying , and can be seen at a variety

St. Mary's Church, Horncastle. The Church
of St. Mary's has the 13 scythe blades said to have been used
in the Lincolnshire Rising of 1536. On the South Aisle wall is
a memorial to Sir Ingram Hopton who was killed at the Civil War
Battle of Winceby in 1643. The Battlefield site lies near Snipedales
