Self
catering accommodation in Withernsea. Withernsea is a
traditional holiday resort in Holderness, 20 miles away from
the City of Hull. It has a recently redesigned and attractively
rebuilt promenade. Its most famous landmark is the white inland
lighthouse, rising around 38 metres above Hull Road. The lighthouse,
no longer active, now houses a museum to 1950s actress Kay Kendall
who was born in the town. The Pier Towers on the promenade are
the last surviving part of the once proud 19th century pier and
there is a splendid beach. The Pavilion Leisure Centre boasts
excellent facilities, both wet and dry, with its superb swimming
pool, gym, sauna, sports hall and squash courts. Also see Withernsea. If you are in the right
