- Other information - Its most famous
landmark is the white inland lighthouse, rising around 38 metres
above Hull Road. The lighthouse, no longer active, now houses
a museum to 1950s actress Kay Kendall who was born in the town.

Pier Towers on the promenade are the last surviving part of the
once proud 19th century pier and there is a splendid beach. |

please weatr warm clothing. It includes quite long walks and
3 staircases. Loud effects are used during our shows. WC's are

Withernsea - Other information - Spurn
Head,over 3 miles long, is a narrow sand spit on the tip of the
east coast of Yorkshire, on the Humber estuary. Home to an RNLI
lifeboat station and disused lighthouse. It is a designated National
Nature Reserve. South
of Withernsea. |
