		Witham lies in the county of Essex, a large county northeast of London with water on 2 sides. It has areas of flat agricultural scenery, undulating and pretty that suited English watercolourists. Narrow lanes wind through meadows past weather-boarded mills and unfenced fields, while flinty church towers can be seen from tree-lined hilltops. Exhibits include a 'Sectioned' Ford Fiesta, Joseph Evans Reliable Steam Pump No. 19473, built in 1916, and a 'Coles' Crane. Langford and Beeleigh Railway - The main line that now encircles the museum building is vertually complete. www.museumofpower.org.uk. About 3 miles south of Witham.
