		Wisbech lies in the county of Cambridgeshire, bordering Lincolnshire to the north, Norfolk to the northeast, Suffolk to the east, Essex and Hertfordshire to the south, and Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire to the west. The flat distinctive landscape of the Cambridgeshire fens is only interrupted by an occasional church spire or a solitary windmill, while the rich peat soil yealds a harvest of cereals, root crops, fruit and bulbs.

The reserve, visitor centre, tearoom and shop are open every day except Christmas Day. Parking is free of charge and for visitors with disabilities there is wheelchair access to the centre. A splendid collection of aircraft, memorabilia, engines, artefacts, uniforms and insignia, models and so much more connected with aviation past and present.
