Welcome to our page of information, attractions
and places of interest around Wicklow. The Wicklow
hotels listed below are either in the town or we have given
a rough guide as to how far they are from Wicklow. The Republic
of Ireland is bound to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the
east is the Irish Sea which reconnects to the ocean via the southwest
with St. George's Channel and the Celtic Sea. The Republic of
Ireland has 26 counties, and five cities Dublin, Cork,
Galway, Limerick, and Waterford. The west-coast of Ireland features
cliffs, hills and low mountains. The centre of the country is
flat with large areas of bogland. We hope you enjoy your stay
and find your ideal accommodation.
Wicklow Town is located south of the
capital Dublin on the east coast of Ireland, and is around 30
miles from Dublin City and 60 miles from Rosslare. It is the
perfect base from which to enjoy the wonderful attractions of
County Wicklow, known as The Garden of Ireland. It boasts an
outstanding landscape comprising contrasting mountains, valleys,
lakes and coastline. The twenty-five kilometres stretch of coast
between Bray Head and Wicklow Head is one of the most popular
shore fishing areas in Ireland.
