birdwatching, exploring countryside, historic sites. The Lee
Valley Regional Park runs for 26 miles between Ware in Hertfordshire
and the East India Dock Basin by the River Thames. Much of the
Park is accessible by boat along the River Lee. Waltham Abbey is on the banks of the
river Lee, and close to the King George Reservoir which forms
part of the Lea Valley chain of reservoirs supplying water for
treatment in the North London area. |
