Bodmin
Moor. Bodmin Moor has a history of bronze age settlers farming
the area over 4000 years ago. It is situated between Launceston
and Bodmin, with the north and south coasts of Cornwall within
easy reach. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. About 8 miles
east of Wadebridge. |

National Lobster Hatchery, South Quay, Padstow,
Cornwall, PL28 8BL. Tel : 01841 533877. "Unlike most marine
biology labs, our work is on view for anybody coming to our visitor
centre". At the heart of the NLHs work is our lobster
restocking project. Local fishermen bring pregnant
female lobsters in to us, to give them a chance to release their
delicate offspring in captivity, where there are no predators.

Port
Authority: Padstow Harbour Commissioners, The Harbour Office,

operate the Black Tor Ferry, this is a pedestrian ferry operating
between Padstow and Rock. 0800hrs until 1950hrs (1650 during
winter months). The ferry service is continuous on demand. An
