Kyle of Tongue is the village of Tongue, dominated by the ruined
Caisteal Bharraigh and by Ben Loyal to its south, halfway between
Cape Wrath and John O'Groats |

Sport - With Tongue being close to Ben
Hope, hill walking is very popular. Bird watching, fishing, horse
riding and other outdoor activities are all well catered for.
The local angling club has fishing on the Kyle of Tongue. Permits
are available. Tel: 01847 611291. Enjoy marvellous walks along
the unspoilt sandy beaches in the area. |

most North Westerly Course on Mainland Britain. The ninth/eighteenth
hole tee shot has to clear the Atlantic Ocean when the tide is
in. Durness is about 30 miles from Tongue. |
