Sport Tongue - Sport - With Tongue being close to Ben Hope, hill walking is very popular. Bird watching, fishing, horse riding and other outdoor activities are all well catered for. The local angling club has fishing on the Kyle of Tongue. Permits are available. Tel: 01847 611291. Enjoy marvellous walks along the unspoilt sandy beaches in the area.

Sport Tongue - Sport - Durness Golf Club, Balnakeil, Durness, Sutherland IV27 4PN. Tel: 01971511364. On A838. The most North Westerly Course on Mainland Britain. The ninth/eighteenth hole tee shot has to clear the Atlantic Ocean when the tide is in. Durness is about 30 miles from Tongue.
