Entertainment Tattershall - Entertainment and attractions - Tattershall Castle was built by the 3rd Lord Cromwell and restored in this century, and is a magnificent medieval red brick tower, a landmark of the Fens which can be seen for miles around. This 14th century fortified house, now in the care of the National Trust, is a splendid example of medieval brick building. Tattershall has the country's largest and oldest one-handed clock. Other information Tattershall - Other information - Tattershall's famous local resident was Tom Thumb, who was just 47 cm tall and died in 1620, aged 101. His tiny house can be seen on the roof of another, larger house in the village.
