 Swaffham is in Norfolk, a low-lying county in East
Anglia with Lincolnshire to the west, Cambridgeshire to the west
and southwest, and Suffolk to the south. The coast of north Norfolk
is a dramatic stretch of saltmarshes, vast sandy beaches and
pretty coastal villages. The Norfolk Broads are a popular holiday
area situated in the triangle of Norwich, Lowestoft and Sea Palling,
where 30 "broads" provide miles of navigable waterways.
Norwich is a city steeped in history with a wealth of museums,
medieval churches, a cathedral and castle, and of course, excellent
shopping! |

Thetford
Forest Park, located on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk. Designated
a Forest Park by the Forestry Commission in May 1990, Thetford
Forest attracts over 1.5 million visitors each year. It hasa
large population of hares, rabbits, gamebirds and deer. It has
become popular with mountain bike enthusiasts, both families
and experienced riders enjoy the trails.
