in Sudbury! The market town of Sudbury is an ideal
centre for both business and pleasure trips to East Anglia. Sudbury
has been used for television locations, most significantly for
BBC's Lovejoy. It is surrounded by the attractive countryside
so often painted by Constable and Gainsborough. Gainsborough's
House, the home of the artist, is now an exhibition of the artists
life and work. Sudbury is a pleasant place to shop. The Market
Hill contains many fine buildings, now mostly converted into
shops. Market days Thursdays and Saturdays. There are many places
to eat and drink, pubs and restaurants. Sudbury is an ideal base
for a walking holiday. Sudbury is
10 miles NW of Colchester,
15 miles west of Ipswich and 14 miles
