Sausmarez Manor is an historic house lived in by descendents
of Seigneurs going back to the early 13th century. Over the generations
the family have been explorers, diplomats, admirals and generals
who have all left their mark. There are over 200 pieces of sculpture
in the art park and the sub-tropical garden is home to exotic
plants such as bamboo, banana trees, tree ferns, camellias, ginger,
subtropical lillies, hebes, giant echiums and giant geraniums.
