The small City of St Asaph, in its elevated position,
has glorious views over the Vale of Clwyd also boasts the smallest
ancient Cathedral in Britain - just 182 ft long and 68ft wide.
The Cathedral has been twice destroyed by fire twice and has
had a fascinating and often violent history. The North Wales
Music Festival is held here each year. Visitors can enjoy pleasant
walks around the City with particularly interesting routes around
the River Elwy. Close to the city is a golf range and 9 Hole
golf course. St Asaph is 22 miles west of Chester
& 10 miles east of Colwyn Bay. |
