St AsaphWelcome to our page of information, attractions and places of interest around St Asaph. The St Asaph hotels listed below are either in the town or we have given a rough guide as to how far they are from St Asaph. From St Asaph you can explore the soaring peaks of Snowdonia National Park, beautiful wide sandy beaches and rugged coastlines, lush green valleys and old-fashioned market towns and villages. Castles are everywhere in North Wales, from little stone keeps to imposing 13th century fortresses. We hope you enjoy your stay and find your ideal accommodation.

The small City of St Asaph, in its elevated position, has glorious views over the Vale of Clwyd and also boasts the smallest ancient Cathedral in Britain - just 182 ft long and 68ft wide. The Cathedral has been twice destroyed by fire twice and has had a fascinating and often violent history. The North Wales Music Festival is held here each year. Visitors can enjoy pleasant walks around the City with particularly interesting routes around the River Elwy. Close to the city is a golf range and 9 Hole golf course. St Asaph is 22 miles west of Chester & 10 miles east of Colwyn Bay. Also see St Asaph.
