M6 Motorway

Roads Stafford - Travel by road - Stafford is about 2 miles south of Junction 14 of the M6 Motorway. The M6 Motorway travels north - south and connects to the M1 at Rugby then on to Carlisle. The M6 Toll is north of Walsall and Sutton Coldfield and bypasses the M6 the areas around Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Stafford is about 165 miles from Carlisle and 60 miles from Rugby.

Stafford railway station is situated on the West Coast Main Line offering a direct service to London Euston with a journey time of approximately one and three quarter hours. It also offers direct services to Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Liverpool and Scotland. Birmingham International Airport is about 45 minutes from Stafford and both Manchester and East Midlands airports can be reached in little more than an hour.
