the largest town in Essex. Southend has numerous leisure facilities
and attractions, excellent shopping facilities, restaurants,
wine bars and pubs. There are two direct railway lines to London,
and the M25 motorway is less than half an hour away. In addition,
Southend also has its own airport. Southend-on-Sea
is 8 miles east of Basildon, 15 miles
SE of Chelmsford
and 4 miles east of Rayleigh. If
