Skegness
Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, Gibraltar Road, Skegness,
Lincolnshire PE24 4SU Tel: 01754 762677. Owned and managed by
the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, the reserve is situated at the
entrance to the Wash estuary. There are areas of freshwater marsh
and man-made fresh and salty water meres. There is an interpretation
centre, bird ringing observatory, a field station for education
and research, 2 birdwatching hides and a nature trail. Location:
On the outskirts of Skegness. |
