M6 Motorway

Roads Sedbergh - Travel by road - Sedbergh is about 5 miles east of Junction 37 of the M6 Motorway. The M6 Motorway travels north - south and connects to the M1 at Rugby then on to Carlisle. The M6 Toll is north of Walsall and Sutton Coldfield and bypasses the M6 the areas around Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Sedbergh is about 50 miles from Carlisle and 185 miles from Rugby.

Hire - Kendal Sedbergh nearby station - Travel by train - Kendal has a train station just a few minutes north of the town at Oxenholme, north of Lancaster. Trains leave the west coast mainline at Oxenholme for the branch line service to Kendal and then Windermere. A series of private narrow-gauge and steam train lines operate in the area.
