 Welcome to our page of bed and breakfast in
Seaford! The town of Seaford is a quiet seaside resort in
East Sussex. It is located on the foot of the South Downs, a
range of hills stretching from Winchester to Eastbourne.The beach
is made of shingle and is very pleasant. To the east are the
South Downs with their wide views and many walks. Seaford Museum
is housed in Martello Tower no.74, which is situated at the eastern
end of Seaford seafront. Seaford used to have a fine harbour
which by the late 1500's had silted up, making landing impossible,
and the harbour was moved to nearby Newhaven about 2 miles to
the west some time before 1565. |
