Ruthin

Ruthin signWelcome to our page of information, attractions and places of interest around Ruthin. The Ruthin hotels listed below are either in the town or we have given a rough guide as to how far they are from Ruthin. From Ruthin you can explore the soaring peaks of Snowdonia National Park, beautiful wide sandy beaches and rugged coastlines, lush green valleys and old-fashioned market towns and villages. Castles are everywhere in North Wales, from little stone keeps to imposing 13th century fortresses. We hope you enjoy your stay and find your ideal accommodation.

The historical town of Ruthin is located around a hill in the southern part of the Vale of Clwyd - the older part of the town, the Castle and St Peter's Square are located on top of the hill, while many newer parts of the town are on the floodplain of the River Clwyd. Off St Peter's Square, behind the magnificent 18th Century wrought-iron gates, you find St. Peter's Church, founded in 1284. As well as its busy markets, Ruthin has a range of shops and a well-established craft centre. Also see Ruthin.
