Rugby lies in the county of Warwickshire, part of
the southern Midlands and a Heart of England county. Here the
rolling green countryside is dotted with an array of historic
towns and villages, stately homes and magnificent castles such
as Warwick and Kenilworth. Warwickshire is best known for being
the birthplace of William Shakespeare from Stratford-upon-Avon.
The county town is Warwick, although the largest town is Nuneaton
in the far north of the county. |
