		Rhyl lies in the preserved county of Clwyd which includes Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham County Borough, and Conwy County Borough. Located in the northeast corner of Wales, it is a hilly county with the Berwyn Mountains to the south, the Clwydian Range to the east and the river valleys of the Clwyd and Dee.
