Rathdrum is an attractive town set
high on the western side of the beautiful Avonmore valley. Glendalough,
Glenmalure (the longest glacier valley in the British Isles)
and Glenmacnass valley and other famous beauty spots are close

House, the birthplace and home of Charles Stewart Parnell (1846-1891)
one of the greatest political leaders of Irish history, is 1
