example of the home of the Welsh gentry of the 15th century.
Built as a hall-house with local stones and timber in the 1450s.
Restored in 1937 it now displays a wealth of original features.

of David Lloyd George in the Museum and Highgate, his boyhood
home. Highgate has been recreated as it was when Lloyd George
lived there between 1864-1880 as well as his uncle's shoemaking
workshop. You can also enjoy the Victorian cottage garden. About 8 miles east of Pwllheli. |

Pwllheli lies in the northwestern county of Gwynedd
in North Wales, an area bordered by the Irish Sea with a beautiful
coastline and the stunning Snowdonia National Park at its heartland.
It is a region of craggy mountains with lakes, rivers and waterfalls,

county though sparsely populated and has numerous visitor attractions
