Welcome to our page of information, attractions and
places of interest around Pwllheli. The Pwllheli hotels
listed below are either in the town or we have given a rough
guide as to how far they are from Pwllheli. From Pwllheli you
can explore the soaring peaks of Snowdonia National Park, beautiful
wide sandy beaches and rugged coastlines, lush green valleys
and old-fashioned market towns and villages. Castles are everywhere
in North Wales, from little stone keeps to imposing 13th century
fortresses. We hope you enjoy your stay and find your ideal accommodation.
Pwllheli sits on the southern edge
of the Llyn Peninsula, a traditional seaside town. Pwllheli is
the main market town of the Llyn peninsula in the administrative
county of Gwynedd, traditional county of Caernarfonshire. Much
of the Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
and Pwllheli is an ideal base to explore this area, as well as
nearby Snowdonia, Anglesey and the western coast of Wales. Attractions
include a marina, the beach, a former Butlins holiday camp called
Hafyn Y Mor (now Haven) and the fifteenth century Penarth Fawr
house. Also see Pwllheli.
