We hope you enjoy your stay and find your ideal accommodation.
Pontypool is an industrial town with
former industries including iron and steel production, coal mining
and the growth of the railways. Pontypool is situated on the
Afon Lwyd river in the county borough of Torfaen. Pontypool Park
is one of the town's treasures with over 150 acres of beautiful
scenery. It has many leisure facilities including a dry ski-slope,
tennis courts and bowling green. At the north entrance to the
park there is the Pontypool Museum, part of Pontypool Park House,
built in the 1690s. The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway Company
is located high on bleak mountain moorland and is the highest
standard gauge preserved railway in Wales. Also see Pontypool
