		From Plymouth you can explore both the north and south coasts of Cornwall in this narrow neck of land stretching down to Land's End. Cornwall is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the coastline is battered by the Atlantic ocean. Fishing ports, little harbours, seaside resorts at Newquay, Falmouth and St Ives and the craggy coastline give Cornwall a character of its own, while inland the countryside is dotted with remnants of its past mining industries.

Our mainline is currently 652 metres or 712 yards long, from the southern terminus of the line at Marsh Mills up to a point that has become known as World's End.
