 This delightful house was owned and remodelled during the 1600s by James Murgatroyd of Halifax. It contains a wonderful collection of beautiful embroideries, Yorkshire carved oak furniture and fine ceilings. In the grounds a magnificent oak framed barn has survived unchanged since the 17th century.
