London, Kings Cross - 1 hour direct train journey from Edinburgh

Perth - Travel
by road - Perth is about 1/2 mile East
of Junction 11 of the M 90 Motorway. The M 90 Motorway links
the Forth Road Bridge at North Queensferry to Perth. Edinburgh is
about 40 miles from Perth. |

Perth
- Travel by road - The M90 runs south
from the town to Edinburgh. The M90 runs from Inverkeithing,
at the north end of the Forth Road Bridge, to Perth, via Dunfermline,
Cowdenbeath and Kinross.The A9 road connects it to Stirling and
Glasgow in the south west and Inverness in the north. The A85
to Crieff and Crianlarich, the A93 to Blairgowrie, the A94 to
Coupar Angus and Forfar. The very tall Friarton Bridge was built
in 1978 and takes the M90 east to Dundee and Aberdeen. Broxden
Junction, just outside Perth, is a major road hub, from which
all six cities in Scotland, as well as Perth, a former city,
can be reached and are signposted from one of its exits |

- Perth has a small airport (non commercial)
4 miles north east of Perth at New Scone. It is used by private
aircraft and for pilot training. Nearest major airport: Edinburgh. |
