Croft Edge is located in the heart of the conservation area of Old Matlock. The town centre, with a range of shops, cafes and restaurants, is nevertheless only ten minutes walk through Hall Leys Park along the River Derwent.
 
The nearby Matlock Bath, which is dominated by the huge limestone cliffs of High Tor, is a popular destination for visitors.
 
The cottage sleeps four or five and has full gas-fired central heating. It has been fully modernised and tastefully decorated to retain period charm whilst providing a high degree of modern comforts.

The cottage has a good-sized lounge, with ample seating and a gas coal effect fire set in a tiled surround. A single step leads to the well equipped and fitted kitchen with all the essentials, including gas hob, cooker, fridge and freezer.
