the beautiful Ecclesbourne valley.

in the old part of Wirksworth amongst picturesque miner's cottages
but within 2 minutes walk of the town centre and shops.

Victorian houses, tightly packed miner's cottages amongst delightful
unspoilt narrow winding streets and alleyways and wonderful views.

- There are fantastic views over the
valley and the intriguing roof scape of old Wirksworth.

- Wirksworth is a delightful, unspoilt
old town rich in history with many old features preserved. It
dates back to pre Roman times and was at one time a well established
lead mining town.

- The house dates back to around the
1830s and has many traditional features.
- There is a homely atmosphere throughout
with things to make your stay a bit special - cotton sheets,
home-made marmalade and other produce, open fire in one of the
rooms. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities.Toaster, alarm
clock and a hair-dryer are available on request.

- Breakfast is flexible to suit your
needs. It is served in the farmhouse kitchen which has lovely
views over the hills. On summer days you may prefer to sit on
the patio and enjoy the views.

- If you prefer privacy in the morning,
the rooms have facilities to make your own continental breakfast
whenever it suits you. Cooked breakfast can be served at any
of these locations.
