- Holmefield is an elegant, spacious,
Victorian country home located between Bakewell and Matlock and
on the doorstep of the renowned Chatsworth Estate, with many
other popular attractions for both young and old alike nearby.

- The house is set in 3/4 of an
acre of sheltered south facing gardens, enjoying uninterrupted
views over the Derwent valley, all of which are available for
guests to enjoy.

- The gardens are an ideal setting
for guests to enjoy a drink and for those of you with children
there is plenty of space for them to let off any unspent energy.

- A further delightful feature of
the setting is the Historic Peak steam railway which can be seen
from the house running between Matlock and Rowsley at weekends
and most days during peak times, helping to create an atmosphere
of a bygone era.

- Holmefield provides plenty of
well lit parking space with ample turning room.

- Breakfast is taken in our spacious
Dining Room which again enjoys superb views over the Derwent
Valley. A wide choice of breakfast menu is offered.

- We aim to cater for any specific
dietary requirement, prior notice would be appreciated.
- Child friendly options and high
chairs are available.
- Evening meals are available every
day except Sunday; we are not licenced but operate an honesty
bar for guests who would like a tipple!

- Guests are welcome to use the
'snug' anytime and there are ample books. local interest leaflets
and games to occupy yourself with.

- A hospitality tray is also provided
and there is direct access onto the sun terrace and gardens,
where you are welcome to sit, enjoy a drink and soak up the views.

- All our rooms have been tastefully
decorated and are well appointed, combining period furniture
with modern amenities. All have en-suite shower rooms with complementary
toiletries and bath robes.

- Premier Rooms - Luxuriously appointed
double rooms enjoying splendid views over the gardens and the
Derwent Valley beyond.
- Featuring a magnificent antique
French double bed and period furniture, the rooms also have a
sofabed positioned to take maximum advantage of the views. Television/DVD,
hospitality tray and hairdryer.

adequately accommodate up to 2 children at a cost of £10
per night (inclusive of breakfast).

A twin room with a window to the side enjoying views over the
