The Otterburn hotels listed below are either in the town or we have given a rough guide as to how far they are from Otterburn. From Otterburn you are well placed to explore Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Durham with their coastal fortresses, magnificent cities, forests and valleys, pretty villages, wide empty beaches and the evocative ruins of Hadrian's Wall. We hope you enjoy your stay and find your ideal accommodation.

Steeped in history, the attractive village of Otterburn was once a major coaching stop near the junction of the A696 and A68. The Battle of Otterburn is best known from the works of the ballad writers; it was the scene of a victory in 1388 of the Scots over the English. Today there is a small car park with display boards to explain the battle's progress and nearby sits Percy's Cross amongst the trees. Also see Otterburn.
