 The Victorian gothic style stone building is a peaceful
Guest House B&B near Whitby, North Yorkshire, situated in
the beautiful North York Moors National Park with magnificent
views across a wooded valley to the sea beyond.

- The area offers many interesting
walks within a few miles' radius, ranging from the clifftop paths
of the Cleveland Way to rugged moorlands and sandy beaches.

- The heavenly rural setting is
the perfect location in which to wind down to a slower more peaceful
pace of life, but is also an ideal base from which to explore
the surrounding villages and towns.

- Grinkle Lodge is licensed, so
pre-dinner drinks, wine and liqueurs can be enjoyed without any
driving worries afterwards!

- The house offers extremely comfortable
en-suite accommodation for a maximum of six guests and alongside
all the usual amenities can be found thoughtful extra touches
that make all the difference including fresh flowers and home-made
biscuits in all bedrooms.

- Facilities include a spacious,
interesting sitting room with a good ‘games’ chest
and many books of local and general interest where guests can
settle down for a quiet read or drink in front of a blazing open
fire if the weather is cold.

- Outside there is a large peaceful
garden to enjoy and share with pheasants, peacocks and occasional
wild deer.
