- The Hand Hotel
-
- Set in the glorious countryside
of the Upper Ceiriog Valley, the tiny village of Llanarmon D.C.
is very beautiful, and yet still a real working village.
-
- At the centre of the village
stands The Hand Hotel, a 16th century farmhouse which radiates
character and charm.
-
- It's hard to imagine a more
tranquil setting in which to enjoy a well-earned break away from
the crowds.

 |
- A warm welcome awaits you at
The Hand throughout the year.
A refreshing cool interior in the hot summer days and blazing
fires in the grates to warm you after a winters walk.
-
- A friendly bar where the locals
meet and a great place for lunch or for settling into its friendly
atmosphere at the end of the day.
|
- The Hand Hotel is very proud
of its chefs, Grant Mulholland (Head Chef) and Eifion Edwards
(Second Chef).
-
- The food they produce is consistently
of a high standard, as well as being very good value. They have
a good reputation locally, as well as further afield, so its
a good idea to book at busy times.
-
- Youre welcome to visit
for anything from a cup of tea and a slice of cake, through to
a full three course meal. Breakfast is served from 8.30a.m. until
10.00a.m., lunch from mid-day until 2.30p.m., and dinner from
6.30p.m. until 9.00p.m.
-
- At other times, The Hand provides
sandwiches and cake only.

-
- At the front of the hotel,
The Hand Hotel has 3 good sized rooms with six-foot wide beds,
which can be separated into twin beds, and one suite, which has
its own lounge, with gas coal effect fire, and a
normal double bed in the bedroom.
These rooms are in the old farmhouse part of the hotel, and are
known as the Character Rooms.
-
- At the back of the hotel, overlooking
fields and the hills beyond, are 5 double and 4 twin-bedded rooms.
- These rooms, which are known
as Country Rooms, are slightly smaller. Double and
twin rooms are paired on short corridors, so that families can
be close to each other, and have a sense of containment.
- Two of the double-bedded rooms
are smaller than the other Country Rooms.
-
- Dogs are welcome, free of charge,
in some of the Country Rooms let us know when you book
