The
Bridgwater & Taunton Canal. The Bridgwater & Taunton
Canal is 14½ miles long, with the two towns at each end.
In between it runs through the rolling countryside of the Somersetl
owlands and also along the Tone Valley. A diversity of rare birds
and plants thrive along the route. The towpath, together with
public rights of way complete the route between Bridgwater &
Taunton. Passes within
2 miles to the east of North Petherton. |
