North Kyme attractions

		North Kyme is in the county of Lincolnshire, a rural area of rolling countryside extending to the coast with long sweeping beaches and popular seaside resorts. There are quaint country market towns, imposing medieval churches, castles and appealing villages. Lincoln itself is the region's outstanding attraction, its cathedral is the third largest church in England. The flat extensive fenlands of Lincolnshire are home to one of the last areas in the country to rely on wind power in its mills, where the remains of more than 130 windmills can be found. 	Cogglesford Watermill, East Road, Sleaford. Tel: 0966 400634. Fully restored and working watermill. This attractive watermill has a long history having produced flour on this site for over 1000 years. Charges may apply. Location: In the centre of Sleaford.
	Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre. Heath Farm, near Cranwell, Sleaford. Tel: 01529 488490. The Royal Air Force College, Cranwell opened in 1920. The college is home to the Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre which has photographs and exhibits of Cranwell's fascinating history. About 3 miles west of Sleaford.
	Heckington Windmill, Pocklington's Yard, Station Road, Heckington. Tel:01529 461919. Heckingtons fully restored windmill is the the only working eight-sailed windmill in the country. About 5 miles east of Sleaford.
