Newent -
Shopping - It is a thriving, unspoilt
market town with a wide range of attractions. Many of the buildings
date from the 13th century, and centrepiece of the town is the
Old Market Hall, built in 1668. Newent Country Market is on Fridays, a weekly market of home produced baked cakes, jams, chutneys, pickles, savouries, plants, flowers and vegetables in season and craft items. |
