Punchestown race course is just to the south east of the town, and the annual Punchestown Race Festival takes over the town for a whole week in April.

Attractions Naas Racecourse, Tipper Road, Naas, Co. Kildare. Tel : 045 897 391. The first official race meeting at Naas was held on Thursday 19th June 1924 and included flat, hurdle and steeplechase races. Since then, the link between Naas Racecourse and many of Ireland's champions has continued down through the years. Location: On the outskirts of Naas.

Attractions Naas Town Hall, originally built as a Jail in 1796 by the old Naas Corporation and abolished in 1840, the jail building lay empty and was acquired by their successors, the Naas Town Commission in 1854 as their new Municipal building. In 1900 the new Urban District Council took over the running of the town. In 1904 they renovated the Town Hall, and gave it the new facade including the twin-faced clock, that we know to this present day. Location: In the centre of Naas.

On the banks of the Poulaphouca Reservoir, Russborough House is a elegant Palladian mansion begun in 1741, built in Wicklow granite. Here you can view works of art by European masters like Reynolds, Murillo, Rubens and Poussin. About 12 miles southeast of Naas.
