M6 Motorway

Roads Morecambe - Travel by road - Morecambe is about 5 miles west of Junction 34 of the M6 Motorway. The M6 Motorway travels north - south and connects to the M1 at Rugby then on to Carlisle. The M6 Toll is north of Walsall and Sutton Coldfield and bypasses the M6 the areas around Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Morecambe is about 70 miles from Carlisle and 165 miles from Rugby.

The promenade is about four miles long, there is a little train between the Eric Morecambe statue to the cafe at the end of the Stone Jetty.
