Self catering accommodation in Monmouth |

Welcome to
our page of accommodation in Monmouth! Monmouth
is an affluent Welsh border market town situated at the confluence
of the rivers Wye, Monnow and Trothy, that has skipped from both
sides of the English and Welsh border over the centuries. King
Henry V is proudly celebrated throughout the town; at the heart
of the town is Agincourt Square. At the other end of the high
street is the Monnow Bridge (photo), the towns trademark
feature, a 13th Century stone gated bridge, which is the only
surviving medieval fortified bridge in Britain. The town has
a number of pretty buildings dating from the 16th Century onwards,
a small regimental museum to the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers
and The Nelson Museum. On Mondays farmers and cattle cross the
Monnow Bridge to the cattle market at Monmouth, a practice that
dates back centuries. Also see Monmouth
& Monmouth attractions.
