Minehead is in the county of Somerset. Minehead is 6 miles west
of Watchet, 20 miles north of Tiverton and 16 miles east of Lynmouth.
Minehead’s Town Hall forms part of a Grade II Listed building
in the centre of town; in fact much of the town retains Victorian
& Edwardian charm. Minehead was often successful in the Britain
in Bloom Competitions winning Best Floral Town on two occasions.
Even though it no longer no enters, it maintains a high standard
of floral displays. Minehead is superbly positioned for a variety
of family holidays, being next to the sea & close to Exmoor.
There are many excellent beaches, both sandy and rocky. Accommodation
is plentiful to suit any budget from luxurious bed and breakfast
