Minchinhampton is the least accessible village in the
Cotswolds. The only roads that go to Minchinhampton are marked
on the OS map as little yellow ones (narrow). The streets are
picturesque but very narrow and driving is difficult. Minchinhampton
is worth seeing when you get there. Minchinhampton Golf Course
is set on Minchinhampton Common, an unspoiled area of outstanding
natural beauty, close to the village. Gatcombe Park is only a
mile outside the town and is well-known as the home of Princess
Anne. If you are in the right town but cannot find the accommodation
