 The Anchorage is a
period residence which stands on cliffs overlooking St Austell
Bay in a quiet but convenient location and on the coastal footpath.
AA 4 diamond rated, we have 3 beautifully appointed double rooms
(2 en-suite, 1 with private bathroom) all with stunning sea views.
We have a guest lounge, off road parking and we are non smoking.
A couple of minutes away is the sandy cove of Portmellon and
just 1/2 mile is the picturesque fishing village and harbour
of Mevagissey with it's charming narrow streets, interesting
shops and good restaurants. We are well placed for visiting the
Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and just about anywhere
in Cornwall. |

in Mevagissey! Mevagissey is situated on the southern
riviera coast, a small, unspoilt fishing village with a colourful
history of boat building and smuggling. It retains its traditional
character and has a selection of top quality pubs, restaurants
and shops. A traditional Cornish fishing village, it has narrow
alleyways, gift shops, art galleries and a working harbour.
