The Lymm
hotels listed below are either in the town or we have given
a rough guide as to how far they are from Lymm. We hope you enjoy
your stay and find your ideal accommodation.
Lymm is a village in the heart of
Cheshire and is close to the larger towns of Altrincham and Warrington.
Lymm has many fine historical features. The centre of the village
is The Cross which is based on ancient steps carved out of the
natural red stone and worn with age. Four stone pillars support
this distinctive landmark which some believe dates back to the
14th century. This would have been the place for public meetings
and also where the stocks were placed. The other distinctive
landmark is The Dam, a treelined lake, an area of outstanding
natural beauty and a nature reserve which was created in the
early 1800s to form a road which is now the busy A56. This is
a focus for visitors and is a favourite for anglers. Also see
