Lutterworth is an old attractive market town. In 1899 it gained a railway station (closed in the 1960s), and in the 1960s the M1 reached Lutterworth. Lutterworth has some delightful features with half-timbered and colour-washed cottages, coaching inns and interesting streets and alleyways.
